We are delighted to announce the promotion of Laura Hattam to Mathematical Innovation Research Fellow (MIRF), following her impactful contributions as a Mathematical Innovation Research Associate (MIRA). Laura’s expertise is in applied mathematics with a strong focus on interdisciplinary collaboration across both academic and industry settings.  She has worked with multiple departments across the University of Bath including; Architecture & Civil Engineering, Life Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Psychology and Mathematical Sciences.  Her external collaborations include a wide range of organisations, such as Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks, Ford, AND Technology Research, Etiq AI, Neuville Grid Data and the National Energy System Operator (NESO).  As a result of this promotion, Laura will take on further research leadership responsibilities, including mentoring team members and shaping future projects.  We are thrilled to have Laura as part of the IMI team.
