Mathematical Innovation Research Associates (MIRAs)
Our team of MIRAs, who have a broad spectrum of mathematical specialisms, and experience leading and working with cross disciplinary teams, are critical to the IMI model. It has been shown that including a MIRA on a grant proposal increases your chance of success.
MIRA time can be flexibly costed to suit your specific requirements, meaning they are perfect for small, agile grants as well as longer-term projects. Their areas of expertise include:
- applied mathematics and statistics
- machine learning
- scientific computing
- predictive modelling
- numerical analysis
- data analysis
To find out more about how you can utilise the expertise of a MIRA, please contact us.
Mathematical Innovation Research Interns (MIRIs)
Some smaller research projects are available as paid internships for students undertaking PhDs in mathematics. With their supervisor’s permission, a student undertaking an internship with IMI, will pause their studies whilst completing the project.
MIRI positions will be advertised on our news page and via our LinkedIn profile.
