Would you like to shake up your research, meet new colleagues from other disciplines, go outside your comfort zone, and see how far your imagination can take you?
The Institute for Mathematical Innovation will be hosting the Power of 3 on Thursday, 9th June 2022, from 10:00 to 14:30 in the Ensemble Room of The Edge.
P3 is a pilot activity that seeks to generate innovative bottom-up interdisciplinary collaborations and proposals between at least three different faculties/school. The IMI will support development of some of these ideas into external funding proposals through seed corn funding and Mathematical Innovation Research Associate time (total value up to £10,000 per funded project).
Join us on a creative adventure as we bring together multidisciplinary groups to develop really out-there new ideas. If you can come with an open mind and a willingness to participate in something a little bit off the beaten track, then P3 is for you! Please register by Monday, 23rd May.
P3 is also a great networking opportunity for staff who joined the university during the pandemic.
Note: We are aiming for an equal number of participants from each of the faculties/school and may not be able to include everyone who registers. You will be contacted after registration closes to confirm if you have a place, or are on the waiting list.
